Overview

Named after the cliffs to the right of Crackington haven beach, Penkenna is the larger of our two Shepherds Hut, where you can holiday with a hot tub..

This is glamping at it's best. There is a kitchen, shower room, king size bed for 2 Adults, bunks above for 2 children, a flexible dining/lounge area with a level of luxury above many holiday cottages. Not to mention the sense of space outside and views across an area of outstanding natural beauty, to the coast

Theres a Jacuzzi® hot tub that can sit up to 4 people, where you can sit back, relax, take in the view, watch the sunset and gaze at the stars

Ultra fast broadband is available in the hut and all the power sockets have usb outlets for you to charge you devices

Eco friendly underfloor heating and hot water supplied from the biomass mass boiler, ensuring you always be warm, have hot water and a powerful shower.

Things to know

The hut is located in the corner of a large field, and is enclosed by a fence
Two 7kwh EV chargers are available for all guests staying at the farm. There is a pay per KWH charge via the vend electric app
Up to 2 dogs are welcome, but must be fully house trained, under control at all times and have up to date flea treatment and vaccinations
A travel cot and high chair is available on request
Check in is after 3pm and check out before 10am. We try to be flexible on this at quieter times of the year
The top bunks are only suitable for children and are not recommended for children under the age of 6
Luxury Hand soap, body wash and shampoo are also provided
All bedding and linen and towels are supplied and are professionally cleaned to provide that hotel feel. Just bring your own beach towels
If only two guests are staying, the bunk beds will not be made up, unless specifically requested at least a week before arrival
We provide two tea towels, washing up liquid, cleaning sponge, one kitchen roll and two toilet rolls. We do not provide further toilet rolls or kitchen towels
We provide a bag of logs, kindling and a fire lighter. Further supplies can be purchased from our honesty shop
You have full access to the nearby guest barn, where there is a pay per use washing machine and dryer, games room and small honesty shop

Living area

Light the wood burner, sit back on the sofa and take in the view. Or chill in front of the smart tv with sky glass , Netflix, and ultra fast fibre wi-fi

Theres also a table that can be expanded and pulled out for indoor dining.

Kitchen

The kitchen is well equipped and includes a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, oven, grill, hob and nespresso machine.

Outdoor space

The shepherds has an enclosed garden, with a lawned and decked area. Relaxed seating is set around a firepit, that can also be used as a barbeque. Theres a dining set on the decking, along with the hot tub.

Bedroom

The beds are hidden behind the partition wall, with a superking on the bottom and two bunk beds above (for children only), with a central separating wall.
